Michael Geraghty joined NCMEC full time in 2008. He previously had worked as a technical and training consultant with NCMEC since 1996.

In 2008 Mr. Geraghty assumed the role of technology advancement officer focusing on technology initiatives within NCMEC’s Exploited Children Division. He was named executive director of the Technology Services Division in 2009, and in 2012 he was named vice president, chief information officer.

Mr. Geraghty has more than 20 years of corporate and law enforcement experience including his role as vice president of High Technology Investigations at Prudential Financial. He formerly served as a New Jersey state trooper and was responsible for the formation and development of the High Technology Crimes Investigations Unit for the New Jersey State Police. Mr. Geraghty received a Bachelor of Arts from Thomas Edison State College.
