Susan Herbert Peacock joined NCMEC in October 2014 to lead the human resource function. Ms. Peacock brings 20 years of professional HR experience from the nonprofit, for profit and public sectors. Before joining NCMEC, she performed various HR roles at Acentia, YMCA of Central Florida, Florida Department of Children and Families, Harcourt, Humana and BDM International.
Ms. Peacock is responsible for NCMEC's strategic human resources operation and works with the leadership team to develop plans, policies and programs to enhance the employee experience. She oversees the NCMEC HR Team in the areas of recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and development, employee relations and employment compliance.
Ms. Peacock received a B.S. degree in Guidance and Counseling and M.Ed. degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Louisville. She also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
